A 76-year-old woman is admitted to the hospital because of abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distention. She is diagnosed with a small-bowel obstruction. She stated that she had undergone a cholecystectomy several years ago, but has never had any other medical problems or other surgeries. After admission, a 12-lead ECG is obtained.
